We visited here twice in 2 days whilst passing through Lamotte Beauvron. We have a dog and the waitress (Celine) made us most welcome. We enjoyed our food and drinks. We wouldn't hesitate to return. View all feedback.
What TimKent England doesn't like about Hotel la Pergola:
The restaurant opens at 1930 hrs and not a second earlier. The waitress was pleasant but nothing was rushed. We ate outside, the tables could have been cleaner, but it was functional. The food was ok, I have had better pizzas, but I have had worse too. The place was reasonably priced. It was not exceptional but it met our needs View all feedback.
Calling in the morning to book, yet no room for us...finally we are installed but we are informed of more than a half hour waiting to take our order.The idea has crossed us to see elsewhere, but a Sunday night at lamotte nothing is open. We wait by asking for a bottle of champagne to celebrate a victory, but no champagne at the expense. we fight on a good bottle of wine and this time break .... so we take what remains to be a very average bottle.after 1h30 wait we finally take our order and 3/4 hour after our pizzas arrive. not cooked and frankly not terrible. We left without dessert. throughout the service the servers, the boss and the cook have not ceased to insult themselves in high voice. No excuse for waiting and not even a goodbye... this boss has nothing to do in a restaurant or any other business, a place to run away.
We were a group of 25, a table of 15 children and a table of 10 adults. It all started with the sangria at the aero, she turned! then the children who were supposed to be served during the adult aeroplane did not all have their dishes. between the beef carpacio that had a funny head, the 10 cm casing piece in the bolo spaghetti, the hairs in the lasagna and the coccinel in the salad, not to mention my pizza that came when everyone had finished eating and just because I asked for it, our culinary experience was pretty horrible. and to crown all we were 25 and they charged us 28 dishes! To avoid absolutely. This establishment should be closed. What are the health services doing?
We ordered 28 pizzas to take away, about 11 euros per pizza. It was necessary to cry for a free pizza. Pizzas have only a thin layer of cheap product on a paste that is too stuffed near or you feel like eating cardboard. all pizzas look like themselves and are not worth cheap frozen pizza.
1 try to take away pizza for two: a laborious organization communication does not pass between the service and the kitchen, you are pretty sure to be forgotten if you do not chat with pizzayolo directly. a part ca pizzas are good.2th attempt to diner on site: one of the waitress is non-respectful. baking pasta is very far from being al dente, we search for seafood in the oily tagliatelles. short to avoid.
Very friendly welcome. fast, simple and pleasant service with a smiling person. the tab at the squid home sauce was very good. delicious and well-stocked pizza. We had a nice night without chichis.
