We found this place by sheer luck, And it was so packed we were lucky to get a seat. Real Portugal food, Had the Best Cod Bacalhau, of the trip ,, By a mile fantastic , Theres plenty of other choices,,The House Red 1 Ltr for 4.5 Euros was lovely This to my mind, was the only good thing about Lamego , As Castle was shut, as most of the town nowadays. Went here for their chicken only to find it not on the menu. Nevertheless the pork bleed was great. Definitely a local restaurant for local people but felt really welcome. It was a real climb to get there but worth it

This is a typical Portuguese restaurant, mainly for local people. It‘s not fancy, but the food is traditional, home made and tasty. Prices are regular for this kind of place, but cheap on a touristic point of view. Staff are family members, and very friendly. A good place for a weekday lunch, when you're in the upper city of Lamego.
Um pequeno restaurante no centro da cidade, com comisa caseira muito bem confeccionada. Bacalhau recomendo e carne.
Excelente francesinha e excelente atendimento bem tradicional, é pena não ter multibanco!
