This was like most small town cafes. The difference was that they patrons spoke Portuguese. It was a convivial atmosphere. The food was unexpected. The hamburger was topped with ham and cheese, so much so that those flavors dominated the beef. The tuna salad had an abundance of tune with hearts of palm, onions and tomatoes. The hamburger was topped with ham and cheese, so much so that those flavors dominated the beef. The tuna salad had an abundance of tune with hearts of palm, onions and tomatoes. Coupled with some fries, this was more than we wanted or needed. The salad could easily be shared. We were served a local low end red from the Duero. It was very, very good and unlikely ever to find its way to the States.
