Tasty House - Lambeth

Despite its unfair look, tasty house stands off both in the service and in the quality of eating from the amount. the ladies behind the counter are polite and friendly and will never be running, no matter how crazy busy they are. Eat is freshly cooked. so they wait 20 minutes or so. the prices are very reasonable, but they only accept cash.

We regularly order take out from Tasty House, the menu is extensive and the food is tasty and great value and so it is very busy. We enjoy everything from chicken chow mein to duck in pancakes, chicken or duck on fried rice and the...best long spare ribs you could want. Hesitate to write this review because everyone will want some!

I was advised to try Tasty House in Camberwell due to the reputation, quality and cheap food. Also, I had the experience of having a spicy beef meal a few days earlier which was tasty but TOO spicy. I must say....it is the busiest Chinese's...takeaway I have ever seen. My 35 minutes waiting for my meal, I counted no less than 28 people entering and ordering. The phone calls never stopped. It was amazing, but staff were clearly over worked. Finally received my meal, but I felt the dish which was of a Thai fusion was slightly bland. As there are so many meal options, I would try again, but please recruit more staff to help the existing staff and the growing popularity.

First I had problems finding vegan courses, and did not get any help after I had asked. when I ordered, I discovered the back part of the menu myself. with a long list of all vegetarian dishes. but after that the taste was terrible...to actually the worst Chinese ever cost and champignon mushrooms instead of the shijitake. never seen.

I regularly come to tasty house, great service and delicious food. the combination box menu is a win and eating is always packed with taste and hot. Salt and pepper ribs with a roasted rice and curry sauce. yum!
