This place is amazing. We went to celebrate a birthday and went dressed up in 1940/50s pin up. We had a great night and danced away until 2am. We also played a game of table football which caused a hilarious competition between us girls. The staff were very friendly, and the bar was decorated with all manner of animals and tikis. What User dislikes about South London Pacific:
goodness knows why this place was on my list, but it was, and who am I to argue with his occurring there? This place is a hidden gem, kitsch, unpretentious, great cocktails with happy hour before 10. It feels like you are not in London with the bamboo, zebra print and tiki decor. Found the staff friendly getting into the spirit wearing flower garlands. The music was fab and I danced the night away! Will be back
The employees at this restaurant are extremely impolite. The manager at the bar attempted to serve gin and tonics without any gin. When we brought this to her attention, she responded aggressively and asked us to leave. Completely unacceptable behavior.
On the hunt for a late, night watering hole in Kennington. The drinks are averagely priced, and the queue won't keep you too long on most nights. Don't worry too much about your shoes when you come.
