The food here is absolutely fantastic! Of the two times I've been I've had the Paella Valenciana and the bitoque de frango. Both were very good. I've heard things about the salmon and the chicken piri piri as well
Terrible paella overcooked and dry. Left most of it. Over £100 for lunch. Staff basically ignored our comments on the dreadful dish.
This was a small dinner party to celebrate my 82nd birthday. I booked there because they had catered so beautifully for my 80+1 birthday last year. Once again the service was impeccable. We started with a glass of Prosecco each while our order for tapas was prepared. We received perfectly ripe melon with ham, whitebait, mushrooms with garlic, prawns with avocado, a T bone steak a total of eight dishes cooked perfectly. Their White House wine is superb and we feasted well. I thought we ought to have liquor with our deserts and so glasses of Bierce on ice came with the delicious deserts made there. That should have been enough for us but the restaurant gave us a farewell passion fruit liquor. We departed very happy and very full!
Had lunch here with family. We were the only customers so the service was quick but purely functional. The food was also quick, but was of a very poor calibre. Meatballs and rice looked and tasted like it had come straight from a can. Chicken croquettes were really poor, and the patatas bravas were not like anything you’d get in Spain either in composition or flavour. The chorizo was quite good, but overall I wouldn’t recommend for lunch as the food was generally below par for tapas. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £10–20 Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2
