this is a hidden gem in brixton that everyone has to try! they have a delicious selection of baked goods and breakfast dishes served with an increased twist thanks to the professional cook. their coffees are delicious, but what steals the stage are the baked. her salty bungalow with seeds, crumbling and cheese is excellent. her salmon, avocado and cream cheese toast is full and unique with salat and seeds on the top.... This is a lovely new cafe and a welcome addition to Railton road in Brixton. The interior decor is great and the cafe has a relaxed vibe where patrons are welcome to relax as long as they like. The coffee is Allpress and consistently well made. I tend to have coffee and lunch at Parissi so can't comment on their evening menu however the lunch fare is fresh, Mediterranean inspired and delicious. The owner is great... View all feedback.
We called in for breakfast and were very pleased with our experience. The food was tasty, the staff welcoming and the garden was a lovely little spot to relax. We chose shaksuka and baked eggs, both were tasty yet the baked eggs had the edge. The garden area has been screened off from the rest of the car park to create a peaceful little spot to sit. We knew our dishes would take a while to prepare and had allowed plenty of time luckily as we were there for about 90 minutes. This was the most expensive brunch we've had for a while, probably because we followed the recommendation and added an extra to each dish, also the 12.5% service charge compounded that (I would usually choose to tip 10% .
Amazing!!! I have visited this restaurant multiple times and tried many items on the menu with different friends and family members. The attention to detail and flavors are outstanding. The coffee is also excellent and the staff is wonderful. This place is definitely a hidden gem.
Tried this great bakery coffee shop today for the first time Really good coffee and cake Really friendly staff
The food at this restaurant is undeniably delicious, however, I must mention that the staff always come across as rude and unwelcoming whenever I visit. I understand that weekends can be busy, but they should make an effort to be more accommodating and polite towards customers. The staff often argue or speak rudely to each other, which negatively affects the atmosphere in my opinion. Additionally, the half-filled coffee I was served was disappointing.
Perhaps it's due to my Northern upbringing and expectations of fair prices, but I couldn't help but feel a bit surprised by the bill at this cafe. While the coffee and pastries were decent, they were not outstanding. We were charged nearly £20 for two cappuccinos, two cups of tea, and four pastries, which seemed a bit steep. It was also strange that we were directed to sit in the outdoor seating area when there were empty tables inside. Overall, it was a pleasant enough experience but definitely a bit unusual.
