We would like to extend our gratitude to Manager/Owner Julio and the rest of the staff for providing us with a wonderful experience at the restaurant. The room was comfortable, the food was delicious, and our waitress was fantastic. We look forward to returning in the future. This is a fantastic place! We have already booked for the 2017 New Year's Party. They truly prioritize customer satisfaction with great prices and a great selection of wine.

However, the quality has declined as they now serve overcooked, dry meat and lackluster chips. Despite this, the friendly service and consistently good chicken remain. It's a shame to see a once beloved local spot lose its charm.

It's certainly unique and really interesting when you first walk into... read more My husband and I went to the restaurant last night for a different but informal meal out. It's certainly unique and really interesting when you first walk into what is just a run down chicken shop. Walking through a little door to the right of the counter, we encountered an altogether different experience. It's a really lovely Portuguese restaurant across two floors. It's no frills but has a great friendly feel and live band. It was unfortunate the time of our visit as there were two large parties downstairs and so the waitresses struggled to provide any decent level of service. Knowing they were rushed off their feet, we ordered bread and butter to at least reduce the immediate hunger. We're still waiting for it. They must have forgotten. The food was fine though when it came. It's essentially just meat and chips but it was what we were expecting and was tasty enough. We went for the spicer toppings and it was good, but due to the poor service, the waitress never came back round for us to order any more much needed drinks. And we left having to settle the bill downstairs by the till point. I'm glad we went. Not sure if I would go back as some of the dishes were quite pricey for what it was (e.g. I had the lamb that came with chips and that was around £14 I though quite a lot for what it was).
