As someone like myself who didn’t like seafood for a very long time, I now enjoy it when it’s done right. This place does it right!! I had the House ceviche and it was fabulous. So much flavor. The service was the best I’ve had...here in Peru. Grey ambiance, great view, and local musicians came and played music. Definitely recommend this place! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Donde Yolo:
Unfortunately we didn't have a nice experience with Donde Yolo: my partner received his dish long before than mine and when mine was finally served (Causa de Camarones) it had some of the shrimps cooked and some others COMPLETELY raw. I sent the dish back and after long discussing they agreed to "correct" the dish and to serve a new one well made. But after a long wait, my partner had already finished his course and... I took my Peruvian instincts here for lunch, I wanted good whip and I will say that we were not disappointed! so fresh and amazing aromas. only wonderful. 8 people for lunch and not 1 unfortunate person. the service was excellent, our server checked. our needs are common and we were very impressed. the lookout on la punta were spectacular from their top floor deck and this little restaurant was one of the pleasant surprises of our lima trip. put this on their lists of have to try when in lima pe.
Enjoyed the ambiance and the food and service was great. I’d recommend this restaurant if you want to enjoy the ocean breeze and great Peruvian seafood.

Don't let the scary stories about Callau disuade you from takingba taxi to La Puente and giving this place a try. Recommend Tiradito with aji amarillo, a favorite Peruana dish. Tastes even better than it looks...just be careful with that sliver of red pepper!
