Club Colonial - Lambayeque

Had a very pleasant lunch there today. We were the only people there. The owner Anna came out to say hello and recommend the fish of the day (sole) plus mashed potato which we ordered as main course after one starter of artichoke hearts plus shrimp in cheesy sauce and one of cerviche. All very good. Waiter called Omer was very good especially as was his first day. Definitely recommend for a couple. Maybe couldn't cope with a large group.

I had dinner at this place in Huanchaco and it was great. The reason why I went to this place, was because it looked so nice! The atmosphere that this place has is great. I met the owner and she is very nice and friendly. She likes talking with you, and prepares your dinner herself, from fresh ingredients. I had the vegetarian lasagna and it was very good. Go here for dinner, you won't regret it. It is great!

This is the most beautiful spot in Huanchaco by far with amazing views and a relaxed vibe. It is like a little island on the terrace where you get so comfortable that it is VERY HARD TO LEAVE! The food is also great, I recommend the Pizzas - fantastic, crunchy thin base, true italian style. The Salmon dish is AMAZING. I also tried the Ossobucco dish and that was also really outstanding.We liked the spot so much that we decided to stay in the Hotel!

The night we went, there was only one person handling everything (including at least some cooking). Food, fish, risotto, pasta, was good but not great. Service, as might be expected with one person, was slow, even though there were only two table of people.

The pasta and pizza dishes we tried were amazing. The lunch and dinner menus are very affordable and fresh! The flowers on every table and the artwork within the whole restaurant really adds an element of romance and class!
