I was ready to find a quiet place to buy and enjoy an Inca Kola when I came to a picturesque little...cafe Fruta and Cafe. I stopped to quench my thirst and was provided in creamolas a wonderful treat ice such as dessert / drink in many exotic fruit aromas. I chose a mixed fruit base with mango up and it was fabulous. I recommend visiting Fruta and Cafe when in Tarapoto!

I stopped for ice cream that was delicious (cacacao and nueces) chocolate and nuts, ended with a pitcher of passion fruit juice. Sitting back and had Guanamana juice, which was also... excellent. Maria Elena (owner) has her factory in her back and grows many of the fruits they use. Worth a moment.
