I had a BBQ chicken sandwich (special of the day) which was excellent. The side salad while small was also quite good. While I wouldn't drive here just for lunch it's worth the stop if you are driving by. There are not a lot of unique and healthy places in rural MO.
We were in Lamar for a car show and the Wyatt Earp Fall Festival, and were looking for a place to eat and found this place! Great little cafe! I had the sandwich special, the chicken cordon bleu. OMG!! It was amazing!!! I think it was the best sandwich I've ever eaten!! It was well worth driving 200 miles to eat here! I also had the red pepper tomato soup. It was amazing as well!! I will definitely be back!! If I were local, I would eat here all the time!!
