My family and I went to Amama after having toured Lama. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating, both with a beautiful view on the mountains and ocean to watch the sunset during dinner. The food was great. We ordered starters to share which were huge, we loved the trio fish pâté and the goats cheese with fig jam. Our favorite main course from our orders was the fish risotto, the fish was fresh and light, whilst the risotto was creamy. For desert we shared the chocolate mousse and the panna cotta which were both delicious! The staff were very kind and efficient, with good recommendations. Super sympa!!

Stunning view, good pizza, good salad. Of five requests, one was forgotten and unfortunately they did not give priority to resolve the matter as soon as possible. I recommend it, but make sure they take note of all the requests.

Sitting outside and looking at the mountains and the beautiful houses in the village. The staff is so friendly and they speak a little bit of English. We both had a starter, a main and a dessert. Starter was good. Main was excellent. Dessert was ok. Panna Cotta better than the créme brûlée. The restaurant is also good if you want a beer during the day. Remember to try the local Pietra.

We’ve just spent two nights in Lama and found ourselves at Amama in the village for lunch. It was so good that we booked ourselves in for dinner as well. Unassuming place that offers traditional and deliciously prepared Corsica dishes. Over the two visits we tried the pizzas, John Dory, the wild boar and the piece de resistance the Lamb Ristretto. All of which were superb. Service is great, setting is stunning in a village that’s well worth a visit. There are also some great walks that start/finish there so what better way to reward yourself than with great homemade fare.

We were staying locally and visited this little cafe several times. We had coffee in the day, ice creams one afternoon (which were lovely! And pizza on different occasions! They were all fresh, made quickly, not too expensive and went down well with our children!
