I've been over for three years. Although the owner has changed the food, it still tastes the same. If you love spices and Mexican food, stop by. This is the place where you should not skip. Try it. They also have rubber balls. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Lazy Gringo:
the place where i was sitting at we had a great view of Jawalakhel good ambience. on this day it had Rato Machhindranath right ahead. they had make your own burrito which as too meaty and i ordered a chimichanga which was again too meaty with tomato sauce. the taste was different but i was at a Mexican Restaurant staring at a local momo place, katti rolls, sweet shop and a bakery opposite of us. A place with really good food, NEAT AND her salsa is to die for
We had Spinach Quesadilla and cheese spinach Mexican pizza. They both looked good, but as the ingredients were similar, there was not much difference in taste. I suggest you try different. The service time was very fast and the place has great ambience with minimal ambient noise. The only negative is slightly steep prices with service fee and VAT on the menu prices.
The food is pretty good but the prices are steep. You get two or more tacos elsewhere for the price of one here. They have both soft and hard corn tortillas though which is great. What was surprising was how delicious the hot chocolate is! The best I've had in Nepal, try their seasonal special peppermint hot choc.
Just not my taste, (Mexican Food). But, if you like Mexican food then the quality is good.
