Jimbu Thakali By Capital Grill, Jhamsikhel

This was my first attempted thakali food, especially dhedo, I totally loved the experience and taste of all the kitchen, service is wonderful, recommend this place to everyone. The food was delicious and well cooked. I had a very good experience and memories.

Food is nice. The texture of the engraving is great and the Dal is amazing. But the service is good and some of the male employees have a face full of attitude. You must be taught to be humble with the customer. Grooming is necessary.

Decent quality of food.. Really loved the potato and bitter gourd but chicken curry was not flavourful and very dry . The rice they refill was not that hot as well but overall tase was good especially with sweetlassi. well 1150rs for this food is worth every penny.

Maybe we had a bad day or higher expectations, but we are not going here for daal bhaat again, we missed veggies and the Thakali khana was mediocre unlike their Naxal branch. Plus a non veg khana does get only meat and no seasonal vegetables (if they have any! We were left unattended for a consider amount of time before we finally called someone and ask if they sell Thakali khana. Lesson learnt good restaurant environment doesn’t always mean good food and good staff personnels.

Nice place with ample parking space. Nice food and was crowded as usual. Food was served late. Also there was only one small basin on upper floor which caused people to line up by the stairs.
