Stopped here for a quick spot of lunch and was very pleasantly surprised. The tapas was very good and loads for all of us, the staff are very friendly and the prices were very reasonable. The chef came out to speak to us and ask if everything was good which was very nice. We will definitely be returning and trying more of the menu Can highly recommend you give it a try. What Lesley L doesn't like about Den Norske Bok Cafe'n:
I have visited this place for a cafe and snack. Service was average and lasagne tasteless. I do not understand how this cafe is in the top 5 restaurants in Albir! If you want a cafe on waffle then it 's your place! View all feedback.
This restaurant cafe serves excellent cakes and coffee and the staff are very welcoming and polite. Definately give it a try

As the name says, this is a Book Cafe and the range of food is limited. The 'Caesar salad with chicken ' was like nothing we have ever seen before: a small leg with uncooked skin sitting on a few bits of lettuce, cucumber and something else. Euros 7.50 is crazy priced and since Norwegians are used to paying high prices for food and snacks in their own country they probably have never complained. Norwegian waffles are a staple snack and dessert and those served were hard and chewy.
We had some super spare ribs here. It is a little quiet and lacking in atmosphere in the evening but the food is tasty and good value.
Went there to watch the tour de france, with no thaught of eating. We got a complimentary homemade spanish omelett that was verry tasty, so decided to try the chefs fresh tapas. Everything was fresh and made to order. That can not be said about many places in Albir. Will recomend this place highly. And I do not do that lightly or without reason. Do not be fooled be the decor, it is a good place to eat!
