Dairy Queen - Lakota

Food was well prepared and tasted good, only ding was our shakes were made before the food and kinda melted before we received our food. A- for a letter grade! Lol

We went through a long road. Very sweet lady in the window and great service, she made sure we had everything we needed! Besides, we got a little bite for our dog, which was very thoughtful!

Loves this place one of the few places where a truck driver can go to the window and deserves

To be honest it's a must and personally we are blessed to have a Dairy Queen in our small community. Talk about nice owners. Always super friendly they're not open in the winter but who really needs cold ice cream when it's 40 below outside. Great clean environment and if you're ever passing by Lakota on highway to definitely swing in and grab an ice cream treat for the road. You won't regret it I promise.

Being the only option for fast food on the way to or from Devil 's Lake campgrounds, you kind of need to take what you get. However, whatever you get won 't arrive for at least a solid 10-15 minutes after you order it so the term fast food doesn 't really apply to this DQ. The breadsticks were so oily they were difficult to hold. The cheese curds were overdone and hard. Kids enjoyed their cheeseburger and chicken strip meals, though. For the price paid, I was hoping for better tasting food.
