We happened to come here when the local mayor was visiting to give a speech for the upcoming elections. Despite that, and the fact hundreds of people had also arrived, we were made to feel at home. We were given delicious vegatatian food, there were lots of smiles and welcomes and it was an authentic Greek family-run taverna experince. They even gave us free food and wine! Although very tasty food....even better than homemade...everything they recommend is worth trying...everything handmade...and the 2 times I ate everything was delicious...it's worth a visit...very the ladies who own the shop are welcoming... it will definitely be one of my first choices when I come back to the island...
