The Captain Crab - Lakewood

When we received the bill, I noticed the catfish was still included. I mentioned this to the cashier, reminding him that I had told the waitress. His response was, "We buy it like that; it comes this way. It's not really something on us." Overall, I don’t think I would return to this restaurant, even if someone offered to pay for my meal.

This place is fantastic! We arrived just half an hour before closing and were apprehensive about whether they would even let us in, but we were pleasantly surprised. The service, atmosphere, and especially the food completely blew us away! Our server was exceptional—he never made us feel bad about arriving so late and took excellent care of us while offering great recommendations. We will definitely be returning! I ordered the combo C with spicy Cajun (medium) and it was perfect—full of flavor and delicious!

This restaurant is fantastic! The seafood is incredibly fresh and tasty! You really can't find better prices anywhere! Their sauce is truly one-of-a-kind. Unlike most places that drown everything in garlic and generic Cajun spices, this place definitely stands out! It's not overwhelming at all—just perfect! If you try the house sauce, you'll understand what I mean! We ordered Combo B with an extra pound of crawfish and a Dungeness crab.

The restaurant has a pleasant and clean atmosphere. The waitstaff is friendly and attentive, regularly checking in on our drinks. However, considering the prices we paid, I wish there were larger portions on the plate. I left feeling still hungry. There were no chips or bread to start off while we waited, and there were no dessert options or complimentary ice cream either. I didn’t notice a kids' menu, but I did order a chicken tender for my child. Overall, the food was delicious, but the portions were definitely small. I ordered the eight-piece scallops, which came with broccoli and a small corn on the cob.

This restaurant offers the best crab boil in Pierce County! The staff is fantastic, and the drink selection is impressive. The place has a unique atmosphere for the Lakewood area. I will certainly recommend it to others. Additionally, they are hiring reliable staff, as indicated by the sign outside.
