I personally am not a big fan of Taco Tantos because I am not a fan of their taco fillings (beans, potatoes, or sweet potato). However, my friends enjoy the potato tacos. I felt compelled to leave a comment to provide some details for people in the city. Some things to note: 1) Let them know you are vegan - they understand and can assist you. 2) Their regular guacamole has a sour taste, but they offer a vegan version (and vegan sour cream as a topping). 3) The tacos are large (I believe there are 8). 4) They usually have a vegan dessert available.
This is our favorite vegan taco spot. The salsa and guacamole are excellent, and there are plenty of vegan options to choose from.
Do not miss out on the sweet potato burrito - it's amazing!
