I was staying in the area for 3 nights and due to how good it was the first night, I went back. Service was great, the girls hustle their butts off. Food was very good. Doesn't get better than this place. View all feedback.
What Katrina O doesn't like about Mulligans:
I remember the food being great. This time the food was greasy and had little to no flavor. The waitress was the only one tending to tables and working the bar. She was absolutely rude and was hard to ask questions to without her giving a rude response. I will not be coming back. View all feedback.
10/10 my bf I love to come here! they have great loaded **** Mary's, taco bowls, tacos, sandwiches... honestly haven't had anything bad to eat there. Service is pretty good, I think they are short staffed but honestly if you got an ounce of patience you'll be more than fine. recommend!!
Very good bar and grill near my husband's family's lake cottage. They cater to community and the staff not only knew the regulars, they stopped and chatted with them a bit as they came inside. If you're in the area, Mulligan's is a solid choice. They do a booming business and the parking lot was very full when we visited for lunch. They offer inside and outside seating and the day we arrived there was live entertainment outside. The inside features a long bar where a good many people were enjoying one of Pam's World Famous **** Marys. We didn't indulge but they were impressive looking and quite evidently popular. The dining area had both high and low-top tables. We were a party of three and we each customized a burger. They were all very good and thoroughly enjoyed, as were the waffle fries. Our server, Jordan, did a great job of keeping our beverage glasses filled, despite the large crowd.
We stopped by last Sunday and they seemed short staffed and after sitting down they forgot about us for about 20 minutes and we had to sorta wave down the waitress. I ordered the quesadilla and water. I was given a bottle of water which was a first at a restaurant. I would have liked a cup with ice. Our food came after a brief wait and it was alright. The ends of the quesadilla were really greasy but the center of it was packed full of yummy chicken, onions and cheese. It was served with sour cream and some mild salsa. Over all it was an okay meal the others food looked decent and we had some to go items. I do like their outdoor patio area they built it was cozy and inviting.
We were camping at Chequamegon Nicolet, at Bagley Rapids, and looking for lunch. Our options were pretty limited, and this place had the most reviews but only 3.5 stars. We went up and down the highway for a bit, and Mulligan's had the biggest crowd, so we stopped. What a pleasant surprise! The menu was large, but my friend had his eye on the Sunday special right away all you can eat wings. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with corn nuggets to start. They were delicious, my friend said the wings were really good, too, and the pork sandwich was so big it was all I could do to eat half. They had a lot of interesting drink specials, and a nice beer selection. If you are camping in this area and tired of cooking on your camp stove, Mulligan's is a definite stop!
Good place in a small town. Very Northwoods! Inside is cozy in the dining room. I ordered the seafood quesadilla and will be ordering again. Oh and the tater tots are awesome!
