Black Bear Diner - Lakewood

The staff was friendly. Clean restaurant and great food. I had the prime rib, loaded baked potato, green beans with bacon and a salad. Prime rib was cooked perfect. The waitress was amazing and went above and beyond. We were very pleased. Will come here again and so will our families.

We were so very impressed from being seated to leaving full and happy. Currently traveling from Florida to San Antonio Texas, here in Lakewood and will continue across country to Maine before returning to Florida. We will look for another location. So wonderful to find a restaurant with very friendly and helpful staff to amazing food and dessert. It’s been way to long since we have had an experience like this. I had an incredible brunch experience! The host was warm and inviting, making us feel right at home with her friendly smile and eye contact. She kept the mood light with a funny comment as she guided us to our table. Our server, Jesus, was outstanding! He truly went above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction—no small feat, as those who know me will agree! We will absolutely return to this location. I'm extremely pleased with our visit. The food is fantastic, and the portions are generous enough for the entire family to enjoy. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Our server was Tyzhanae, and she was outstanding! This was the best service we've experienced in a long time. She was incredibly friendly, and we didn't even have to ask for anything – she was always there when we needed something. The restaurant was very busy, so we had to wait about 35-40 minutes for a table, but it was absolutely worth it for the level of service we received!
