A&w - Lakewood

Although the sign says A&W, I actually visited KFC, which is conveniently located together with A&W at this site. As always, the service was excellent, and I used the drive-thru tonight. However, the drive-thru was a bit tricky due to the snow and ice. I had a hard time reaching the window because my car felt like it was going to hit the building. After a couple of unsuccessful attempts to back up and try again, the guy in the car behind me got out and suggested I straighten my wheels—like I hadn't already been trying to do that! Of course, that didn’t work either, which was quite funny. I decided to go with my gut instinct and let the car slide a bit; it was a bit nerve-wracking, but I made it—with a little help from the guy behind me who physically pushed my car, which made for a funny moment. I really appreciated his help. Oh, and I’m supposed to be talking about the chicken! KFC is still as good as ever, and I'm enjoying it now. Happy New Year, everyone!

I claimed my complimentary A&W root beer float for my birthday and it was incredibly smooth and tasty. Oh, and did I mention it was free?

The burgers are tasty, though I thought they were a bit too salty for my preference. The service is typical of a fast-food restaurant. I received a friendly welcome and the service was prompt. I really enjoyed the root beer!

After a long shift at the hospital, I placed my last order of the night. The team working the drive-thru made my evening much brighter with their friendly and accommodating service. They truly went above and beyond! Plus, the food was delicious as always!
