Wanted to get the word out. Had a tasty to go dinner from Hops Thyme this evening. My husband got the lamb/pork belly burger and said it was great! The new owners are definitely turning things around. I ordered a cheeseburger and was super happy withthe freshness of everything lettuce was crisp, tomato perfectly ripe and bun soft. Will happily return to try more.
I had a negative experience at this restaurant two days ago when I discovered a piece of charcoal in my sandwich. Today, I ordered the Brisket Slider and was disappointed to find that each sandwich contained only five small pieces of brisket, while the rest was mostly coleslaw drenched in BBQ sauce.
Great atmosphere! They had live music and lots of outsoor seating. We loved the Brussel sprouts and salmon filet. Be aware if your a Longhorn or Texas Alumni, they have some A&M decor. It is a bit pricey but the quality of the food is good.
This is a honest review. We just went here for dinner and wanted to love it but it took 90 min to get our food. Unacceptable service. The burger and fries were cold and way overpriced for the quality. They need to seriously make some changes in their kitchen and menu. They were out of some items on their already limited menu and the beer we wanted was also sold out, more like poor inventory planning. Had a piece of carb board in my sandwich two days ago. Got the brisket sliders today and had 5 small squares of actual brisket per sandwich. The rest was coleslaw drowned in bbq sauce
