Firehouse Subs Lakeway Commons

Went to Firehouse as we were craving a good sandwich...but unfortunately we got there at 840pm on Friday July 2nd and we could see one of the two guys inside run to the door and lock it as we pulled up in front. Two young guys l, high-school looking age were working and they quickly turned down the lights. If they closed at 830 or 840 I understand, but the store closes at 9. Horrible they stood there looking at us staring into the windows. If this is the new hours, then update Google, if not teach your employees how to use a clock, or we will eat somewhere else. Jason's Deli was happy to receive us and fill our need for a great sandwich.

I usually enjoy Firehouse, but my experience was spoiled when I bit into my sandwich and found a piece of paper inside it from this location.

This location is our favorite sandwich shop, but unfortunately, the franchise owner at the register has really spoiled our experience. His demeanor is unpleasant, and it seems like he makes the other employees unhappy as well. Not to mention, his service skills are lacking, and he never smiles. I never had an issue with my order until he took it. The food tasted as if it had been prepared carelessly. After receiving such poor service and a disappointing sandwich, we've decided that we won't be returning. I considered asking for a refund, but I didn't want to deal with the owner arguing about the missing napkins. I would recommend steering clear of this place if you can.

Delicious! I wish I had ordered the largest size sandwich, but that's on me. I really enjoyed the Italian sub, and my husband loved the selection of hot sauces. The service was quick, and there was plenty of parking available, even with a trailer. It was a bit warmer inside than I would have preferred, but since I took my order to go, it didn't really matter. Overall, very tasty!

By far the best Firehouse location I've ever been. I've eaten regularly here for a few years and I've never been disappointed. Service is always excellent, food is great, and I appreciate how the owner is present and always ensures that the place goes well. I have to eat gluten-free and they are great for taking food allergies. Very recommended!
