When you walk in, you'll feel like you've stepped back in time at the Jateryear Square with a sense of nostalgia. The omelettes are tasty, especially when paired with the hash browns, and the portion sizes are generous - it may be more than one person can finish. Overall, it's a great spot for breakfast. Delicious Eggs Benedict paired with amazing coffee make this a delightful way to begin the day!
The servings are generous and the dishes are delicious! Definitely give it a try.
I stopped after a few telecons this morning. I've passed it from... I recognized the road, the Cafe 67 is up, as it is the junction for the trailhead for the El Cajon mountain hike, which I tried to reach for *four* years. All right. I was here at 1015 and went around 1045. The place was almost empty when I arrived. I ordered a large breakfast of French toast, a few eggs over easy, bacon (two slices) with a full side of bacon (four slices), and a half order of cookies and gravy. The French toast was made from thick bread (Texas toast size). It was good, but it was missing... something. I think it needed cinnamon or nutmeg. The bacon was pretty perfect, along with the eggs. The cookies and the severity... I love the cookies. I should have had them with butter and jam. The severity wasn't bad, but it was weird. They sprinkled it with parsley (I believe) and a red spice. It had little taste independent. Total
