The food is absolutely fantastic as is the service. My husband had the 16oz sirloin while I had the scallops. 4 stars for value because I had 3 scallops for $5 more than a 12 oz wagyu sirloin steak. The chocolate bourbon bread pudding was the best bread pudding we've ever had. The staff even gave us a card for our anniversary which was a lovely touch. What Ali Moselmani doesn't like about Beargrass Bistro:
Upon our arrival, we waited about 20 minutes, which seemed reasonable. However, once we were seated, there were numerous flies flying around, creating an unpleasant atmosphere. As for the service, our server did her job adequately but seemed a bit off that day. While the food was quite delicious, the prices felt disproportionately high for the portion sizes. Had such a lovely vegetarian meal. The hen of the woods mushrooms were delightful and the stir fry veggie quinoa was bomb. Also loved their wines by the glass, had a nice California cab!
