We booked reservations for two outdoors. When we arrived, we were told all the seats outside. We came at 430 and left at 6:00. All the time we were there, we could have been sitting outside. Most tables were unoccupied. We wanted to eat outside and drink a few drinks. My wife and I could have eaten closer at home. Although the food was good and our waitress was excellent, we were very disappointed! No way to treat repeated customers. Service: Dine in Meal Type: Dinner Price per person: CA$40–50

I'm not going to go into a long lead over my dinning experience. Instead, I'm meeting some key points. Apparently, menus are not available. They are directed to a QR code at a corner of the table. I could accept the empty ketchup bottle presented with the meal, there is a kind of spice shortage I didn't know about. Fish (Halibut Perch) previously frozen. The soggy texture is something to see. No spices were used when these poor fish were baked. The whole mood was strange. From the empty table top to the broken plastic basket, the $28 meal was served. We used to be regulars at The Sandbar, but we hadn't been back since new owners took over. However, we recently decided to try it out again and were pleasantly surprised. Our dinner was excellent and the service was top-notch. Despite being very busy, our meal was served promptly and was both hot and delicious. We will definitely be returning in the future.
