Panda Express - Lakeland

My go to for Chinese food! A great value for the money. Consistent portions n flavor! I only wish they would open a location store in Plant City, Fl! I have to drive 30 mins to eat here when I want Chinese food!

Came by Thursday last week on my break at 10:37am, and they open at 10:30am. doors were locked, lights still off. a guy let me in nonetheless and told me they didn't have that much food yet which fine, I'll see what you guys do have. I go to the area you order at, and I see him talking to two girls in the back who just kept poking their heads out and giving me looks..he eventually came back up and told me it'd be a few minutes. when I asked him how many minutes he said he wasn't sure since he didn't handle front of house and they had nothing set up yet. I left considering I'm on my unpaid break, I don't have time to wait around for the staff to get it together, it's ridiculous. you guys claim to open at a certain time, then be open on time, as someone who works opening shift in a restaurant, I know it's not that hard to do.

I walked in at 10:55 (They open at 10:30), they have NO fried rice, NO lo mein, and at least 7 missing entrees. She says the guy who cooks didn't show up for work. As I'm leaving, I see a guy slowly walking across the parking lot with a Panda shirt. She points out that he's th3 cook. He couldn't have walked any slower and clearly was not concerned at all that he was late. Ridiculous and disappointing! I mean why even open the doors to a Chinese food establishment if you don't have the basics?

The food is good at this location. The cooking staff is extremely rude. I would say about 50% of the menu is never readily available (usually have to wait for items when I go). I made an online order recently and added a super green side. I made the order at 6:30 to pickup at 7:15. They didn’t have my food ready and they said they were out of the super greens. The cooks gave the nice cashier a hard time about completing my order. Just complete laziness in my opinion. Again food is decent but the staff is lazy. I would be embarrassed if I were the owner.

I am very disappointed! I visited this restaurant tonight to pick up some food and ended up paying extra for the Angus steak, but all I got was a plate of vegetables with no meat! I spent $32 and there was barely enough food for one person. The chow mein was also just vegetables. I won't be returning, which is a shame because this was a place we used to enjoy frequently.
