Ovation Bistro Lakeland Priority Seating

The experience wasn't too bad. The food was enjoyable, but the service was average. We noticed another table asking for bread, so we requested some as well. The server brought it to us without any issues, but it seems that if bread is offered while customers are waiting for their meals, it shouldn't require a request. On a positive note, the restaurant was clean and welcoming, and there was plenty of parking available. The portion sizes were also satisfactory. We'll have to visit another location to see how the service compares. Personally, if I receive excellent service, I’m likely to return, even if the food at another place is just as good. My overall experience matters.

First visit. Overall disappointed by the atmosphere, service and food. Server seemed to have a hard time hearing the customers over the dining room conversations, which caused incorrect orders. Booths and tables weren't comfortable. Burger and chicken breasts were extremely dry, fries weren't fresh, no presentation, and we waited over 30min for our main course. Appetizers were okay but the main entrees were a huge disappointment. We shared the feedback with our waitress and the management offered a free dessert for our troubles. You don't know until you try a place. I hope you have a more pleasant experience, it just wasn't in the cards for us.

Steak Wedge salad was mediocre, bit into a rotten grapes tomato and 4oz steak was tough varying degrees of rare to medium well, despite ordering medium rare. Buffalo Chicken sandwich was really good Lobster Mac n cheese not worth the additional charge. Overall...probably not going to revisit.

This place was absolutely fantastic! The atmosphere was wonderful, and the food was spot-on, cooked to perfection. The presentation was impressive as well. I gave 4 stars for service because, while our server was excellent, they also filled the roles of hostess, bartender, and possibly even cook. As a result, water refills and entrees took a bit longer than anticipated. It was a midday Saturday, so they might have been understaffed. If they can address this, it would truly be perfect!

Although they were short-staffed, the team did an excellent job managing the busy lunch rush. The buffalo chicken sandwich was absolutely delicious, and their unique method of preparing French fries was a nice touch.
