The turtle sundae here is absolutely the best I've ever had! The attention to detail is fantastic—perfectly roasted pecans sit atop creamy vanilla custard, all drizzled with warm caramel and hot fudge. I can’t wait to have another one! View all feedback.
What Hester Jakubowski doesn't like about Andy's Frozen Custard:
Cute place but my daughter and I both agreed that we would rather have a milkshake from Dairy Queen, Twisty Treat or Sonic. Our shakes ended up in the garbage honestly I didn't even drink half. It was liquid with no good flavor and I order the same shake everywhere. Sorry but I'm not going there again it was a waste of money. View all feedback.
Andy’s is situated in a charming old firefighter's house and offers some fantastic combinations on their menu. They also feature seasonal flavors that are delightful. I adore the decor, and the custard is delicious! It's the perfect spot to satisfy a sweet tooth on a warm summer night.
They love the mint concrete. there is a private building. live in the night some benches have to sit outside or drive thru and to foot service.
I like how they have a real person outside to take orders. Been here three times now. First order didn't have a lot of flavor but maybe that was just my taste at the time. I don't remember what I ordered specifically. My second time there the order was the James brownie jackhammer which was very good. This time on June 2nd I went back and wanted to get another James brownie but they didn't put a brownie in it so that was disappointing since that's a big part of it. Also ordered another custard and they messed up that order which was even more annoying. Overall, the custard is great, they just need to get the orders right.
We recently relocated from Emmaus, PA, and were in the mood for a banana split. The staff member who took our order was very friendly, and the custard was delightful! We also tried the drive-through, which was surprisingly quick, even during rush hour.
Let me first say I love the style this place has. Looks great, very clean and would pull in any would be potential customer from the road. The service however was so so.Mostly operated by teenagers. That’s to be expected at an ice cream shop but it seems like they had very little training.I watched multiple employees drop items on the floor they were working with and just pick them back up and use them again. The two employees we spoke to had zero customer service skills. Hardly looked up at us and did not smile the entire time.I’m normally not a stickler about these things but it was very noticeable here.We also heard while our order was being prepared the manager verbally yell at all of the employees for not getting peoples order correct.I’m all for correcting your employees if need be but not in a way where it publicly calls them out in front of the customers. That being said I do believe the two orders I’m front of us had to be remade because they were wrong. Our orders were fine with no issues. Now for the simple part. This custard was nothing great.Very basic. While the menu looks like it has a ton of options you will find out pretty quickly it’s mostly just chocolate and vanilla with a selection of toppings. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t great either.Just average. While I love the look and feel of this place there is nothing i experienced that would cause me to want to visit again.Sub par service and management. So so custard with a cool building.Cheers
