My dad ordered the fish and shrimp plate and the fish wasn’t fully cooked. We called to let them know so they would be aware of the rest of the fish that they sell today. The employee that answered says that the manager wanted us to freeze the plate and take it back another day so they could see it and then he would give my dad another plate. That’s not the way to run a business so we won’t be going there anymore. View all feedback.
Good burger? only wished it had put on a greasy grill so that my bread was buttery

Super good seafood!!! Great quality for the price!!
I have been a loyal customer of Martine's for the past 7 years, as I live nearby and enjoy their food at very reasonable prices. However, during my visit this past weekend, I encountered a new employee. When I ordered my usual burger and fries, I was surprised to find out that the price had increased from $6 to $9 without any prior notice. The menu still displayed the old price of $6 and there were no signs indicating the change. The meal I received was messy and difficult to eat, as the fries were overly greasy and the burger was not a patty but rather broken up on a bun. Overall, I was disappointed with the experience.
We were driving around the hill country and remembered La Cabana restaurant so we decided to order hamburgers to go. Although it is a Mexican restaurant, we had seen people order the hamburgers at our previous visits and they looked scrumptious. We have enjoyed coming to this restaurant when in the area as we enjoy the food. I 'd like to share our experience. After a long wait, my husband got in the car I smelled something burned. As we drove off, I opened the container and discovered that both burger buns were extremely burned, the back bun worse and poor presentation of the food. We turned around and returned the order. It made us wonder if the cook would even eat those. How could anyone allow that to leave the kitchen well knowing he/she burned the buns as it would not only be a poor reflection of the cook but the restaurant. So very disappointed since we did travel a ways to get to that establishment. Funny because we were just saying Who can possibly mess up a burger Well we surely found out! I had to air the car as we were headed back home due to the burned smell. That experience was enough to make a decision not to return to that restaurant. The one star is for the cashier who was extremely apologetic and offered to re-do the hamburgers. My husband declined. On the way home we saw The Four Way Stop and decided to try that restaurant. Very pleased with the taste of the meat, seasoned fries, and pickle included. Fantastic burger! Our travel was not a waste of time after all. Thank you Four Way Stop for quality food.
