Solid mexican food. Good chips and salsa, and fresh good food. I got the Arroz con Pollo and it was different then others I had, but different in a good way. Tasted like it was fresh off the grill. I'd definitely return, even though it was pricey. The dish I got was $14. View all feedback.
What Bertrand Hudson doesn't like about Azteca Mexican Grill:
The restaurant was hot, very noisy, and had slow service. The staff was friendly and the food wasn't completely terrible, but I have no desire to return. The restaurant was much smaller and dirtier than I had anticipated. I ended up feeling sick after eating there. There are much better Mexican restaurants in the area if you're in the mood for that cuisine. View all feedback.
Absolutely great place. great service, hot and fresh food to reasonable praise. Chimichanga and shrimp diablo were fantastic. we live close.
I'm honest, the service is slow and the location could be a little cleaner. that said azteca grill is a small spot.
This has nothing to do with covid, in which did lake wylie really has not closed during this pandemic. I want this place so much that it's close.
Very good neighborhood Mexican restaurant. Wide selection of lunch specialities. Images are: the $6.99 Speedy Gonzales Lunch Special of 1 ground beef taco (good; 1 enchilada of your choice (I chose chicken only OK; and fried beans (excellent); and their made to order chilaquiles (outstanding!). Free chips salsa with any choice. Service is friendly and efficient. Family friendly. The interior is on the small side. decor is old ish could use a refreshment; very pleasant outside terrace restaurants also available.
I don't recommend it here. We ordered the super chimichan gas with beef tips and Yolanda, as well as tamale and beans on the side. Overall, the food was decent, with the exception of a MAJOR problem, the cattle tip Chimichangas came with ground beef, so we asked that they do it right, what the waitress did involuntarily. If we have the bill, they've changed us extra. We asked that they explained that they changed the ingredients about 3-4 months ago, but the menu had not been updated yet. No one told us that at every point until we're done and ready to go. So we pushed back and asked to have removed the cargo because the request was for the menu item as described, our waitress said sad, but that was as it was, she was asked to add it. So we wanted to talk to the manager who refused to correct the bill. So we paid, but don't leave a tip. Personally, I am disgusting that a business that could do so many things to solve the problem was so badly interested in customers. This makes me more questionable, like the worn benches, the broken TV. This business has to go out of business. There are many other Mexican restaurants on the same street and area, not water your time or money here.
