Contribute FeedbackLooking for a mixed bag of reviews for Mama Mia Trattoria? Some guests were disappointed with the food quality and portions, while others found the service satisfactory. A bug in a drink, an insect-infested cocktail, and a loud atmosphere were some of the issues mentioned by diners. On a positive note, Metro 8 was praised for its great offerings, especially during restaurant week with a 3-course meal for $30. The steak was a standout, as well as the dessert. Another restaurant received high marks for excellent food and service, although some diners encountered issues with seating and noise levels. Slow service was a common complaint by some, while others raved about the delicious dishes they enjoyed. Whether the experience was positive or negative, it seems that each visit to these restaurants had its ups and downs.
I had the shrimp filled with delicious crab meat at that restaurant, and it was amazing. The dish was a combination of authentic crab meat and a delicious sauce. My only wish is that the service was a bit slower so I could savor my meal. It seemed like they were rushing us out, despite there being empty tables. There was no need to hurry us along.
Very consistent place eating is always excellent. a great place if you want a good meal at a reasonable price in a beautiful atmosphere and good service.
Three pasta dishes were great. server woypuld would have changed it if we had asked.
One of many visits, food enjoyable as usual, sharing their large servings is a good deal for $10 (2 salads and 2 full side dishes) if you don 't like leftovers or are going somewhere after dinner. Saturday evenings always a little slow to be seated (someone took our reservation) and served, but not terrible.
Mamma Mia's never fails to impress. The food was delicious, the portions were huge, and the service was great. I will definitely be returning.
