New favorite. Authentic. The main language is Spanish and we do not speak Spanish. Everyone is kind and treats us well. They have some food prepared already like in a cafeteria, but they are happy to make anything you request off the menu. The flavors are great and the food is simple. Also not very expensive. What Travel Eat doesn't like about La Esperanza:
Always paid $2 or less for a taco here. Went recently and the woman said the tacos are $3.50 each. This isn’t Rocco’s, it’s a hole in the wall with little to no A/C, doors wide open and flys buzzing your food and head. Would gladly pay $2 each and enjoy a taco or two with my fly friends in the heat but $3.50 is ridiculous. Avoid this place and hit up Tacos al Carbon if you want cheap, authentic tacos. It is a blue collar place, the prices were good, girls so kind
Food ok, but they took my order and took 20 mins for 3 tacos. Like the didn’t care if they serve or not.
The rice is raw, I don't know if they know how to cook, but I don't recommend it.
Really good food. They have a variety of different Mexican and Honduran food.
