Melanies Seafood Company - Lake Wales

My friend and I stopped in to have some lunch. Both of our first time eating here. Jen was our server, she was great! Prompt to greet us, get our drinks, and order in. Food was fresh and delicious. We started off with fried mushrooms, they came out fresh with a horseradish sauce.. so delicious!! I got the Mel burger which was fantastic! It was perfectly cooked to order. My friend got the oyster poboy, I think he really enjoyed it judging by how he literally breathed in hisfood. My friend then ordered himself a chocolate cheesecake. I had 2 bites and it was delicious! My friend then ordered me to box my fries to bring home, so I take it he also enjoyed the fries as much as I did. The fries, I believe are cutin house. No way they ordered them in frozen, they are amazing! If you're ever in lake wales, definently stop in for lunch (or dinner) and try to get Jen as your server.

Got to go here with my Mom and Step Dad and had an amazing fish dinner.. the chef is awesome.. service is INCREDIBLE.. this is a place I can see WHY it gets the people it does. It's amazing

Great place for a meal. A little high priced but food is very good and service is excellent.Parking: We had no problem and have been twice . There is a parking lot if you don't want to park on the street.Wheelchair accessibility: I have a walker and they always accommodate me with a booth or table and storage for my walker .

This is a great seafood restaurant located in downtown Lake Wales. We just passed through the area and looking for a place for a quiet dinner, and everything was very good. Our server was very friendly.

My friends and I go to Melanie’s on a frequent basis. The hometown/ family owned environment is good for the soul and so is the food. The staff is so friendly and every dish I have had at this restaurant has been top notch and you can tell everything is cooked fresh! We will continue to return and tell all of our friends about this little Lake Wales Gem! Pictured is the Salmon plate with sweet potato fries, the lightly battered 1/2 lb shrimp with French fries, and chocolate cake! I also highly recommend the Fish Rueben!
