Got the chicken bowl with rice, beans, and regular fixins guac. Very, very good. It's a nice, braised kind of chicken and actual Mexican rice. Very good portion sizes on the food and chips. For $14, I certainly can't complain. Inside, it's a basic little shop. Nothing special, but nothing wrong either. The girls working the counters were pleasant. What Josh doesn't like about Locorrito:
I’ve never eaten here and won’t be back. Turned away at 8:32 by the staff behind the counter because they close at 8:30 on Sundays instead of the 9pm listed on Apple Maps. Stellar customer service. First time, last time….ordered the Smoked Brisket Birria, the meat was somewhat tender, However the brisket meat was pulled rather than sliced against the grain causing the meat to be chewy. Also ordered guacamole and chips, but when I got home the order included queso and not guacamole. Its really depressing when you can’t trust the staff to get the order right. You got one chance to get it right and failed…will not be returning.
We came here twice in the 6 days we visited my in-laws because the food is amazing.
I’ve been here multiple times and the food is consistently great! My go to is the bowl with spicy rice and chicken, onions, tomatoes the green sauce is a must. The brisket birria tacos are delicious as well
