Zig Zags Pub - LAKE PLACID

I had a wonderful time at the restaurant. The bartenders were friendly, quick, and very efficient. The atmosphere was pleasant, with a welcoming crowd. I’ll definitely share my positive experience and look forward to coming back!

This is a really enjoyable dive bar in Lake Placid! Having been to dive bars in New York City, I can say this place offers a refreshing change from the usual glam atmosphere. Sometimes, you just need to escape that vibe and embrace something more relaxed, like the Adirondacks. They have pool tables, darts, and a variety of games. The atmosphere is laid-back, and the prices are fantastic!

The staff is so inappropriate. Everyone drank in the job. They ignored our order and then called us twice and called us bitches, even though we said we would both pay. The Bouncer called us c*nts. And has no answer to why we were C*nts. It's harassment. Then we were joking about being blond. If the bartenders are upset that it is good, but it is not an excuse to call someone c*nt

FEMALES DO NOT ATTEND- came here for the weekend. The bartender did not acknowledge my friend ordering a drink, so she ordered from another bartender (like a normal person). We got kicked out and then the bouncer started calling us c**ts, then started making very feminists jokes. Completely uncalled for- stay away from this establishment.

They've got a bobsled out front. So that's cool. Otherwise it seems like a dive bar for locals. Staff were very unfriendly towards us, so we only stayed for one beer (of which there is a great selection).
