extremely limited dinner menu. the French wobbly soup was just strange. pasta was really the only really good product that we had, although the part was quite small for place is beautiful, though. the breakfast was good. View all feedback.
The dining room is such a fantastic space and we were excited to dine there but the cuisine and service exceeded the venue. Our server, Jenni, and the head chef were very attentive to my wife’s allergies. The pace of service was wonderful— relaxed and unhurried. Our salads and entrees were exceptionally fresh and wonderfully prepared. Overall it was a most memorable dining experience.
Amazing wine tasting and pairing with creations by the Chef. Beautiful location and even a better evening. The meal and dessert was perfect.
Beautiful surroundings. Staff very pleasant, doing their best with very short staff. Drinks took almost 30 minutes to arrive at the bar. In the restaurant, soup arrived lukewarm and sent back to be reheated but took about 20 minutes to be returned...and it was again lukewarm! Kitchen staff were also seemingly short- staffed....The manager comped our soup and another appetizer which was appreciated. Food itself was nothing special....Would not return there nor recommend.
The ambiance is amazing. It 's everything an Adirondack Great Camp should be. The wait staff were friendly and helpful. The soups were good. Unfortunately most of the positives end there. While my trout was excellent, the basil gel it was served with didn 't work flavor-wise and looked gross on the plate. The vegetables were badly undercooked warm but raw and the wild rice was so undercooked it was granola-crunchy. My partner 's hanger steak was far too tough, too much connective tissue: it was probably a sirloin tip. I 'd recommend coming for a glass of wine at the bar to enjoy the atmosphere, but dine elsewhere.
Although the food was very good it took an hour and a half for the food to arrive. My rez was at 5:30 in hopes that the early dinner time with kids would be enough time to get fed and get them off to bed. This was not the case
