The Fish Net - Lake Park

Compared to our previous several visits (about every 2 6 months) this time was different in a great way! The whole vibe was better. It was very busy but we were seated immediately and served promptly. Food was hot, fresh, and delicious (except for the tartar sauce just didn't like how it tasted). Server was very friendly and attentive. Owner was on site and friendly too. Wheelchair accessibility: While the parking lot is uneven dirt which would make a wheelchair ride rough, there are ramps leading up to the building.

I visited this restaurant with my father when it first changed ownership and the service was disappointing. We decided to give it another try tonight and unfortunately, the service was even worse. Our waitress brought our food but never returned to check on us. My dad ordered the all-you-can-eat fish, but it seemed to be limited to just 3 pieces as the waitress didn't come back for a reorder. Drinks weren't refilled and the food was below average. When we finally decided to pay and leave, the waitress realized she had neglected our table. The service was terrible and the food did not make up for it. I would not recommend wasting your money or time here.

I absolutely adore the fried catfish at this restaurant! The variety of salad options is wonderful. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. The ambiance is delightful.

I was extremely disappointed with the service at this restaurant. My family and I have been loyal customers for years, but tonight's experience was the worst we have ever had. Four of us ordered the all-you-can-eat fish, and three of us had to ask for refills multiple times, waiting long periods for them. Our waitress rarely came to our table, with a young man refilling our drinks and passing on our requests to her. We also asked for more cheese grits, which used to be complimentary but are now extra. To make matters worse, I had to wait so long for my food that the rest of my party had already left the table. As I was eating, the busboy started cleaning up, even though I told him the others would be back to continue eating and drinking. The owner then came and cleared away our cups and plates, despite my party's return. When they asked about their drinks, the owner was rude and dismissive. Sadly, a guest with us was also disappointed and said they would not return. I have to agree, as this may be the last time my family visits a place I have fond memories of growing up in.

I recently had dinner at this restaurant and had an amazing experience. The price per person was very reasonable, ranging from $10 to $20. The food was top-notch, receiving a 5-star rating from me. The service was also fantastic, earning another 5-star rating. The atmosphere of the restaurant was perfect, I would also give it a 5-star rating. I highly recommend trying the Seafood Platter, Catfish, Cheese Grits, and Catfish Fillet when you visit this restaurant.
