Locale Gastropub - Lake Park

Great mimosas, great DJ and the food was good. However, my 2 vegetarian friends ordered a cheddar, onion and pepper omelet. Told the server twice they were vegetarians and the omelet had HAM in it. One girl hadn't eaten meat in 32 years! No manager came toapologize, nobody gave an explanation. The place was empty. One other couple was eating and our party of 6. There is no excusefor this. Had this been a peanut allergy someone could have died.

We were definitely looking forward to trying this place out based on the reviews and the fact that they are having a nice wine and food tasting. However, we were a little taken aback when we walked in. Very, very casual atmosphere with a DJ which quitehonestly wasn't necessary for the amount of people. The Bar area does look nice which is what we were drawn to in the picturesbut the rest...... nothing to write home about. Primarily the bar was almost full so we sat at 2 seats available there. Ordereda couple drinks and food. Food took quite a while. My husband had finished his drink so had to get the bartenders attention. Shewas talking to other clientele. Asked about another drink in the reviews and where our food was. No longer had the drink sojust had a glass of wine. Food still took awhile. Mine finally came. Wasn't bad (could make at home) but had a really burntcrust on 1 side. His came and he said it was good. They did comp 1 beer because of how long the food took but on the way home,hubby said I don't need to go back there. Sorry. ????

Nice little pub in Lake Park. I came here for a late lunch on Saturday. Happy hour started at 3:00 in the kitchen closed after brunch. I came in at the end of brunch and they had a DJ playing. The ceiling is metal the walls are brick and glass and thefloor is concrete so there's nothing to absorb the sound and I could barely talk to the bartender to order a drink. Fortunatelybrunch ended up pretty quick and I was able to get a great burger. The builder burger for $10 is a good deal The burgers niceand they give you plenty of fries. Aubrey was tending bar and she was wonderful also. When I got the bill I was scratching myhead because I ordered a gin and tonic and I got charged for the liquor and then also for the tonic. This is the first time Iwas ever charged for a mixer so it was $2 for a splash of tonic and the liquor was $5 at happy hour. Nothing else was unusual onthe bill. This is a nice little place, the people are friendly and I'll definitely come back but perhaps order a beer next time.

My wife and I stopped in for a quick lunch and were not disappointed. We stayed an hour longer than expected due to the cool vibe, delicious food and great drinks. Wow! This place is a hidden gem. Bryan, the bartender, is in the right line of work. He?s awesome. Now to the food out of this world good! We had the meatball appetizer and from the first bite you could tellit was homemade. Then we ordered some tacos for the main course and they were the best I?ve ever tasted. Bryan recommended thebirria tacos (beef) and I can tell you they are definitely worth the trip. Go here. If I lived closer I would be here all thetime.

Enjoyed Saturday brunch with my family. The wings as an appetizer and all three items, we ordered were very fun dishes with lots of flavor. Will definitely be back for lunch or dinner. The bartender taking care of us was very personable.
