TooJay's is celebrating 35 years in business, and it's clear why they've achieved such success. Few restaurants in the Orlando area offer as wide a variety of deli options and desserts as TooJay's does. View all feedback.
What Sharon B doesn't like about Toojay’s Deli • Bakery •:
I will never be ordering a sandwich from this place again. My first experience was utterly disappointing—it simply wasn’t worth it. I got a pastrami sandwich on a brioche bun, and it looked nothing like the picture. It was definitely not worth the $15. They promoted it as being generously stacked, but it resembled something you'd get from Wendy's. View all feedback.
The service is always reliable, and the menu offers plenty of selections. Additionally, they have a fantastic Greek dressing that doesn’t get the recognition it deserves. If you leave this place still hungry, it just means you didn’t order enough!
Great deli with delicious sandwiches. However, service may be a bit slow during busy times.
The food remains delicious, but it seems that TooJays is reducing their portion sizes. My sandwich had nearly half the amount of meat it used to have. Additionally, the two slices of cake we ordered to go were also quite small.
I was disappointed with the mashed potatoes; they were too watery and seemed to be made with water instead of milk. On the bright side, the pastrami sandwich was quite tasty. Sadly, the country fried steak was even worse than the frozen versions you can find at the grocery store. The service was average, but the salad included oxidized lettuce, which was a letdown.
We have been dining at TooJays for years because we truly enjoyed it. However, since the new owners took over, the prices have risen significantly, and we rarely go there anymore. After all, it's a deli, and I don't believe the new prices are warranted.
