The Nautical Beachfront Resort

The location is absolutely perfect! Rooms are good size and this hotel is right on the lake! Super nice little private beach for the hotel guests. The pool is probably the best part of this hotel. There’s a bar to swim up to and it overlooks the lake! Love it here!

My husband and I stay at this hotel every year for Labor Day weekend for our anniversary. I am so disappointed with how we were treated. We always reserve a cove parking which is very expensive $250 a night to park our boat. We were told by French to put our chairs down and umbrella to hold our place at the beach. I think it’s ridiculous that if you’re paying for a spot at the beach that it should be reserved with a number. I used to be numbered in the cove parking but now it’s not. We left in the morning to go boating and we were gone most of the day, we came back in the evening and someone was parked in our spot. So the security officer was super rude to us and there wasn’t really anywhere for us to park our boat. So we had to squeeze into a small little space, and the boats around us were worried that we were going to hit their boat. This place shouldn’t over sell the cove parking and it’s not fair that you have to fight for a space. Everyone is here to have a good time and shouldn’t be treated by the hotel staff in a rude way. We went to eat at the restaurant, and it took almost 2 hours to get our food. This place has really gone downhill and I’m not sure we will be back again.

DO NOT COME FOR THE BEACH!There are so many boats that PAY for a spot that normal guests can 't get a spot at the water and enjoy the 'beach '! Not enough 'beach ' for as many gusts that they have. Also, boats BLAST their music in the bay til midnight, and large groups blast music, and they all try to out sound each other so it 's an ear assault! Country, rock, and EDM with some rap mixed in all play at the same time trying to be louder than everyone else until you just get a headache. If you have the best music system and have a large group, you will have fun. Service is sub-par due to lack of care and understaffing. Front dest girl is RUDE. This is not a resort, this is a party hotel. This is NOT a resort, resorts have cleaning services, and don 't charge you for clean towels. 4 people and they gave us 2 shower towels... asked for more and was rudly told no. The ONLY spots to set up on the 'beach ' because people yell at you if you get close to their boats or the water. Security does NOTHING except harrass you! The beds are hard as rocks and cheap as heck! Decore is OLD and NOT the vibe, SUPER dated. Carpet is stained and looked like it was not cleaned. Crumbs on the floor when we came in and there was a hand soap(bar) already opened on our bathroom sink. You can hear your neighbors through the walls..... It is NOT worth the price! Bar charged me for drinks I DIDNT GET! This place has a SERIOUS Lack of care! The positive was the turtle coves food is good, over priced, but good and the view is AMAZING!Rooms: Thin walls, loud music, employees just don 't care and are rude.Walkability: It 's a maze when driving but you can get where you want.... IF ITS OPEN!Careful of the speed bumps at night, not lit very well.Food drinks: The turtle cove breakfast buffet was actually really good, so was the coffee.Noteworthy details: Be prepared to be annoyed by everyone else 's music, obnoxious, rude behavior(from guests AND staff), and be prepared for headache.

Rooms are dirty and very old , no room service its only 2 or 3 people working there , pool is so dirty with no shade area around it .We found roaches and artificial laches from the previous people in the room . Its not worth the money , and i asked for a refund but they denied it.The curtain broke , and they couldnt fix it . So they zip tie itCompletely unprofessional place.Called to ask for a refund , but the manager was a bit aggressive and annoyed from the review , although its nothing but the truth.

We had a sort of rough experience. We don’t believe this would be the case for many others but from our experience, we cannot give more than 3-stars.Our room had water all over the floor, clearly from a leak or something. We had barely even just got checked in when we realized. Unfortunately that ended our stay here since they were sold out and couldn’t get us another room.It did seem like a great location. A lot of people were hanging out at the beach right there which looked great. Hopefully they get that room fixed so someone else doesn’t have to encounter what we did. We may give it a try in the future but we shall see.
