Village Idiot Pub - Lake Grove

I went to a restaurant for a lunch meeting with a group. It was not very busy as it was just opening time. There was only one person running the whole place - taking orders, serving, bartending, and cleaning up. However, they were very efficient and professional. The food was great.

Went in for the special “burger and beer” must sit a BAR! It would have been nice if the bartender had a personality! Took our order and that was that, wanted to play a few games of Quick Draw, not that the bar was busy, she was just a rude human! I asked for water, that only took 15 minutes didn’t even bother to ask my husband if he would like a glass! She has no personality and she definitely needs some manners….like Thank You! Why work with the public if you hate it? I have interjecting!!!

If I could give zero stars for service, I would have done so. I waited for over 15 minutes for someone to come to the front desk and pick up my to-go order. The bartenders did not even ask if I needed help. It was ridiculous. Despite there being only a few tables in the restaurant, there was no service. If the food wasn't good, I would not have returned. As a former service industry employee, I find this level of service completely unacceptable. There should always be someone at the front desk. I am thoroughly disgusted.

Great place to eat. Sort of like a sports pub with a Mrs Pac-Man arcade machine and darts. Food is delicious and everything was great.

For food I would have to go back again try something else. The ahi tuna tacos looked tasty the flavor was good, but the actual tuna itself was too fishy. I am a sushi lover this was not even close to a good tuna taste. ? our waitress was super friendly sweet the atmosphere was great.
