Melt Shop - Lake Grove

Not a bad spot. Decent at best! Would give it a 3.5/5. The Nashville hot chicken melt is okay. I think the seasoning had too much paprika or chili powder it was too overwhelming. The Oreo shake was really good! Not too sweet and had a nice consistency.

I had the fried chicken and my daughter had the buffalo fried chicken sandwich from here for lunch. They were really delicious. The chicken was moist and the outside crispy.

The wait was long. I'm assuming this is because it's hard to find good help. The person at the cash register didn't even speak to me or smile. Not sure what's going on there but I wouldn't want her representing my business. The salad I ordered was ok at best. Should have gotten a salad from Wendy's a few steps over

Ive been in the restaurant business for multiple years, understanding how important reviews are. My experience was terrible, their chicken was greasy and slimy which usually means the chicken is not being kept at the correct temperature and is poor quality. The breading fell right off which was also very greasy. I ate half a peice of chicken because I was starving and then luckily stopped. The service was terrible, I'm hoping I don't get sick tonight.

I went with my boyfriend a few days ago after looking over the menu online and seeing a lot of things we liked. The girl that took our order was really helpful and told us it would be out in 5 minutes. I got the chicken tenders and fries and he got the Nashville hot chicken sandwich with loaded tots and we both absolutely loved our food. The tenders were crispy, the fries and tots were delicious and his sandwich was fantastic. We will definitely be back when we visit the
