The View At Dunham's Bay Resort

There were three of us in our party. For the brunch, you can select two of the entrées and then you get a number of included side dishes. There was plenty of food with some to take home. The sweet potatoes were a favorite for everyone. Great sausage. We had the pepperoni ziti with ricotta cheese and the quiche for our entrées and both were very good. The view of Lake George is wonderful. We saw people in their huts ice fishing. They were very busy including a large party in a private room but we were not in a hurry. The wait staff were very friendly.

We tried The View because our normal restaurants were booked. Worst food I’ve had in years. Everything was overly salty. We were a table of 4 sitting with empty water glasses and wine glasses, yet no one offered us more water. I have spent 38 years in Lake George and this is one of the 5 worst restaurants I can remember. Will never go back.

We had the Valentine's Day special for 2. At other restaurants this usually means scaled down portions. But not here. Each of the four courses was substantial, well prepared and well seasoned. Our server, Mandy, was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We had very nice conversations with her over each course.

We HIGHLY recommend the Sunday brunch! The food, served familystyle, was excellent and was such a great price.

Ansolutely delicious, had brunch, french toast amazing, first time having quiche—delicious! Plenty of food for husband and I. And you could order a bagel or such too. We enjoyed overlooking the lake. Staff absolutely polite, place clean, quite peaceful. Plan on going many times. Also had our sons wedding there-again all perfect. Thank you Matt and crew for a wonderful brunch.
