Guests rave about the delicious cocktails and attentive service, with highlights including the fried calamari and the highly-praised mussels appetizer. While the lobster dishes are generally well-received, some diners noted inconsistencies in execution, such as overcooked lobster and lackluster presentation. Despite a few service hiccups and occasional noise from other patrons, the overall dining experience is enjoyable. With competitive pricing for a tourist area and a variety of seafood options, this eatery is worth a visit for seafood enthusiasts.
My son wanted to come to this restaurant while we were in Lake George. I have seen mixed reviews that I can't give these four or five stars, because everything was only really mediocre our service, although waiters were right on it. I must say it was the first time that I had Clam Chowder with the very strong taste of Rosemary in him, but it was moderate and lukewarm, that is not so big of a taste when you are a hot Clam Chowder. The Clam-Chowder was more like potato-chowder I don't even think that it was a shell in my Chowder My Son and I ended on splitting the full lobster pot. We come from New England where Clambake Lobster pots are made right This was a very great disappointment, especially for the price. Nothing was warm and they ever gave us an ounce of butter. Not a drop of spice. Everything was kind of dry. Even if you really want a good seafood pot, I simply suggest some potatoes a piece of sausage there a few spices like Old Bay is a very good scam season if you don't know how to season properly and just an ear of corn is simply unacceptable for a $85 Lobster Pot. If you like unseasonal lukewarm moderate food, this is definitely the place for you I would give a star, but the service was definitely very good
Me and my men for the first time in Lake George. Before we go to the Airbnb, we decided to look for a seafood restaurant. I googled and shows three restaurants and one of them is this restaurant. We ordered and when our food came, was disappointed to see what I ordered. With the price, somehow expensive for her Lobster Pot and her Lobster Sandwich. You could have done something with the presentation to look more expensive. A beautiful plate, maybe and a little shrimp. Also the situation is not what I expect it is not at the lake. Our server is very nice.
My better half and I had the crabmeat stuffed mushrooms appetizer, which was very good, just enough to wet my appetite, then we had the broiled seafood platter which was stuffed flounder with shrimp and scallops, all very tasty and cooked just right, vacationing here, but will come back again
Location is nice and the food was tasty. However they were out of crab cakes and mashed potatoes, so had to settle on another dish. Blue wave cocktail was awesome. Service was very good.
Husband and I are visiting from MI and drove by this place. We were hesitant at first to go because of some of the reviews. We both wanted seafood and said let's go. We were both very happy we did. Service was great and so was the meal. We had the bacon wrapped scallops for a appetiser and we split the Lobster Pot. So glad we split it because we had two shrimps we couldn't even finish, everything was really good. My favorite was the clam chowder, king crab and shrimp. My husbands favorite was the lobster, king crab, clams and shrimp. Would definitely go back.
