What User doesn't like about Hunt Club Steakhouse:
Overpriced compared to Morton's, Mastro's, Capital Grill. Not a good value. Lack of choice of salad dressings for wedge salad (there were basically two: blue cheese and a vinagarette) was surprising. Steaks were o.k. My client ordered his medium rare and it was done medium. Waitstaff was good. View all feedback.
Ordered a filet and strip steak well done as well as a side of scallops and a baked potato. The filet came out pink, the scallops were so salty, almost not edible and the baked potato was dry and overcooked. Not the quality I expected for the price.
We usually enjoy our experience here..but myst have been an off night. First off..the dining room was very very cold..most diners needed a sweater..jacket..we complained without any result. We ordered the artichoke appetizer..which was not as described on menu..tasted like dry bread..we asked our server about it..she said she would talk to the chef..we never heard any reply about it. Two of us ordered salmon..after about 20 mins..the server said they ran out..we were surprised as it was still early in the evening..I then ordered the risotto..which was very bland. Everyone else had either chicken or steak..which they said was just ok. So, for a high end restaurant..not a great experience.
Big disappointment. Steak was cold. Not quality meat; it cost $80 for aged meat. It was not prime, and it was beef flavored chewing gum. There was no fat! The fingerling potatoes were cold and soggy. No value.

The staff was amazing the drinks were amazing however our reservations were for 7:30 and we got our table at 7:15 which was great but took an hour just for apps which were delicious but another hour for our entree which was a mix of being cold or overcooked/burnt and not great. We did speak with a manager who was very nice and took care of us due to the long wait. I would like to go back and give them another try but not anytime soon.
