I am going to preface this review with "Never judge a book by its cover "Your first impression upon pulling into this shopping center will be to keep driving. We ordered food to go from here, so I kind of needed to follow through.First off, it wasn 't cheap... But it was amazingly tasty! I was very impressed. The ceviche was refreshing, the soup was amazing... Most definitely worth a try.
5 is low ... you deserve al 10, you make our souls happy, all the food was amazing, very simple but full of authentic flavors. For sure we'll come back for more !!!!
Incredible sandwich, Brasa Chicken. We will be back again. Nice side salad too. Friendly owners.
First impressions the owner seemed like a nice guy greeted us placed our order for us. It was until after we got our food that things went to absolute ****. We ordered a Ceviche, Aguadito de pollo, Tallarin Saltado con Mariscos Arroz Con Mariscos. So the total came out to about $92 some change. What was given to the owner was a $100 bill He did not even bother to give us our change back, he kept it for himself as a tip, like a thief. We do tip but that is obviously something the customer chooses and is not just stolen from the customer. So we sit outside, in this makeshift seating area in the parking lot. Extremely unsafe for children the owner even said himself. His words not mine. Probably is unsafe for anyone in general. As it 's not a proper structure. Anyhow our food comes it does not look appetizing at all. I will say they serve large portions but what 's the point if it 's not any good. The food looked like sloppy joe 's for dogs but before judging we decided to try it. Unfortunately it was not any better than it looked, it was wayyyy worse. The Arroz was soggy tasted like animal slop. I couldn 't eat more than a bite of that pig slop. It was gross soup like, Rice shouldn 't be that way. The Actual soup had a single leg of chicken that didn 't even look like it was cooked within the soup, it was like a piece of charred fried chicken that was just tossed in. The soup broth which should be chicken broth tasted like leftovers that was sitting in the fridge too long there was no chicken flavor there at all. Whatever that was it wasn 't prepared correctly. The ceviche tasted like it was ready to be tossed out, The corn that came with the ceviche also tasted like it was stale moldy. They obviously don 't take the time to check the expiration before serving it, thankfully we hardly ate the ceviche so we didn 't end up sick. The marinade for the ceviche was pale in comparison to what it is supposed to taste like, not even close to what Peruvian Ceviche should be,Trust me their Ceviche isn 't the real deal. That was a cheap Imitation that lacked flavor and doesn 't come close to Authentic Peruvian Ceviche more like a knockoff to cut spending costs not to mention their serving food that has gone bad. I will be honest though The single dish that was decent was the Tallarin Saltado Con Mariscos, but honestly pasta is one of the easier dishes to make so if you get that wrong you just can 't cook at all. So I tell the owner that we didn 't like the food that 's not how it should taste like and mind you our plates were basically left as they were brought out. (Besides the Tallarin Saltado) He turns red and immediately gets angry with us. So I asked instead to have another dish instead but the owner Says well since you don 't know what you like why don 't I just give you your money back? So I said sure. I 'll get my money back. Never did I raise my voice or express any anger either. So I told him I want a refund for the soup the rice. He gets even more upset that I 'm asking for 2 dishes now. Obviously I wasn 't going to ask for a full refund for the entire meal so I thought at least 2 dishes cause they were the absolute worst of all the dishes. But he gets upset starts ranting about his reviews and tells us if we don 't like the food we should just get up and leave basically goes back into the kitchen without a direct answer for my refund. A few minutes after that the actual cook comes out to mean mug us and stares us down to try and intimidate us. I 'm with my mother and my 1 and a half year old nephew. What a tough guy trying to intimidate women. Veryyyyy Tough. So I decide to leave and walk into the kitchen to get my refund for 1 dish because the owner turned into an absolute child and threw a temper tantrum over a refund for 2 dishes. Then he went and told me that 's why Peruvians restaurants hate Peruvians cause you guys always
