M Cafe Grill - Lake Forest

Fast service and a friendly server made for a pleasant dining experience. The Persian food was absolutely delicious! I tried the eggplant dip, which was fantastic, as well as the traditional Gheymeh Nesar and both the regular and Persian pizzas. Everything was flavorful and satisfying. My only downside was that the pizza was a bit overcooked; maybe I should specify how I like it next time. Overall, it was a wonderful experience with great food in a lovely setting.

The ambiance is a solid 5 stars, and the service also deserves a perfect 5 stars. The food rates a 4.5 stars. We ordered the Chicken Barg, which was juicy and flavorful. It was a generous portion, featuring a long skewer of chicken accompanied by plenty of salad and rice. The Chicken Sandwich was substantial, filled with numerous pieces of chicken and fresh salad. Unfortunately, the hummus was the only disappointment; I truly wish it had been tasty to complement the thin bread and chicken better.

The food was delicious, and the portions are generous enough to share. I highly recommend the m-cafe fries! The service was fantastic as well. Although there was only one waiter when we left, he managed everything wonderfully and maintained a low-key but attentive demeanor.

That was the first time I tried Persian food, but I was with my Persian friends. Our party ordered Doogh to start, in my opinion only not my jam. Then we got an Ash Reshteh soup that was also good. Then we ordered the Persian pizza that was one of my favorites. We also ordered the M Cafe Sandwich, the Zaban, which was a cattle tongue sandwich and chicken and rice. The food was pretty solid. It took 20 minutes until the check came when we asked several times, this is the only mistake.

We absolutely love this place, the food, service and the decor are fantastic! You really get your money's worth at this restaurant. Thank you, we'll definitely be back!
